Priority
ITMI2006A000528 → WO 2007/108034: the first time I wrote down my thesisThe Valpas Box filing, in my own name. It described one-shot and time-limited passwords, card payments that never disclose the number to the merchant, and above all an architecture in which the key is held on no server: anyone breaching the provider's infrastructure would find nothing but unreadable data. Not pursued into the national phase: I was fifteen years early. The document remains public and dated.

Product
Xbinary: storing files online, before DropboxA system for keeping your files on the internet and retrieving them from any computer, launched in 2005. Dropbox would be founded two years later. I do not claim to have been first in the world: I claim that two national magazines described it to Italian readers in the same month, and those pages can still be read.

Craft
Before anything else, someone who writes codeTen years as a developer: graphics engines and multimedia software for Mondadori, De Agostini, Edizioni Master, VNU, Jackson Libri and CHIP, sold on newsstands across Italy. I did not come to security from management or consulting. I came to it from code, which is why in a technical discussion I cannot be told whatever suits the room.

Patent numbers can be consulted on Google Patents, Espacenet and the patent offices' own sites. Corporate dates and announcements are available online. The work with individuals and with boards, by contrast, appears nowhere at all, and that is exactly as it should be.
